Description

This product is part of the XCS range, an offer of safety switches. The limit switch is a device that converts a mechanical motion into an electrical control signal. It has 2 normally closed, slow-break, simultaneous contacts, normally closed contact with positive opening operation. It is a switch with a rated operational current of 3A at 120V AC, 1.5A at 240V AC, 0.55A at 125V DC, 0.27A at 250V DC and a conventional enclosed thermal current of 6A. It is designed to operate in hazardous environments. It is furnished with clamp terminals for electrical connection and 1 cable entry tapped for M16 x 1.5. It supports minimum actuation speed of 0.01m/s and maximum actuation speed 0.5m/s. It offers long mechanical durability which is about 1 million operating cycles. It is an IP67 rated product. The casing is made of plastic. Its dimensions are 110mm (Width) x 33mm (Depth) x 94mm (Height) and weighs 0.36kg. It is intended as far as safety is concerned all dangerous machines in all sectors are involved. Such as packaging, handling, robotics, machine tools, presses, automotive sector. This product is certified by CSA and UL. It meets CSA C22.2 No 14, EN 1088/ISO 14119, EN/IEC 60947-5-1, EN/ISO 12100, EN/IEC 60204-1, UL 508 standards.
