Description

RETA-01 from the R series is a single-port Ethernet adapter module that supports two communication protocols: Ethernet/IP and Modbus TCP. The protocol is selected via a parameter in the frequency inverter. Ethernet/IP The adapter module has two communication profiles: the AC/DC drive profile and the ABB Drives profile. RETA-01 uses so-called static assemblies, except for the assembly >User Specific Control< and >Extended Speed Control Plus Drive Parameters<. The module meets all requirements for approval as an Ethernet/IP device. Modbus-TCP The adapter module acts as a Modbus/TCP server and supports the ABB Drives profile. Common read/write function codes for single and multiple registers are supported.
