Description
The perimeter bidirectional dual passive IR motion detector allows the external control of the building's perimeter, ideal for the protection of doors and windows. It has to be installed on a wall.
Inside the machine there are four infrared detectors, two per side
both sensors on one side, coupled, can be adjusted horizontally at 0° or 3°. In the vertical direction, for each side, the upper sensor is fixed, while the lower one is adjustable to 4 positions (with detection distance of 2, 5, 8 and 12 m).
The alarm is triggered only if both sensors, even on just one side, detect a presence
this operation mode makes the device particularly suitable to avoid false signals due to the presence of pets. This device communicates bidirectionally with the central unit, that supervises it at programmable intervals (every 15 minutes by default)
it can be programmed in real time or delayed mode (with a programmable delay from 0 to 90 seconds that can be different for input and output). It is possible to configure these parameters during the system commissioning.
