This product is part of the XU range, an offer of photoelectric sensors. This ultrasonic fork equipped with a thru-beam system is designed for accurate label detection, with a sensing distance (Sn) of 3mm. It has a very compact design in 60mm that makes its integration easy in any product line, as close as possible to the label deposit and it can operate in very hot environments (+55°C). This sensor presents NPN function and other setting and monitoring functions through IO-Link communication. The HMI disposes of 2 buttons for the setting and a bargraph with 5 LEDs to follow-up the detection status and the quality of teach if the contrast is not satisfactory. It weighs 0.12kg and uses a 2m-long cable with 4 wires. The XUVU forks are dedicated to the packaging market segment. This fork is cULus, UKCA and CE certified. It is Ecolab-certified for packaging and food and beverage applications, guaranteeing long-lasting performance. It is installed via 2 fixation holes. The XUVU range benefits of an innovative architecture and high detection performances. XUVU products feature 3 types of connector, M8, pre-cabled and pigtail to address a wide panel of use cases.
