Description
The VZ48C is a small linear three-way with bypass zone valve used for the control of hot or chilled water in terminal units. It is designed to be used with the MZ14 family of thermal actuators. The valves utilise a double O-ring design on the plug to ensure a leak tight seal on both valve ports, this ensures no loss of energy leakage through the valve. 15mm Compression connection DN15, Kvs: .6 m³/h Pressure class PN16, stroke 2.5 mm, Normally closed (A-Ab). It is recommended to fit a strainer upstream of the valve to increase reliability and to follow water treatment guidelines as detailed in VDI 235. Valves should be installed in the return pipe to reduce exposure to media temperature extremes.
