SIMIT Simulation Software . Engineering S . Software Update Service within the Framework of this Contract, you will receive updated Software Versions for a Period of one Year. Extended by another Year, if it is not canceled three Months prior to its Expiration. Period of Delivery and Performance: 1 Year from Date of Invoice Prerequisite for Contract: current Version of the Software SIMIT is used to perform simulations on a single platform; these simulations permit comprehensive tests of automation projects as well as virtual commissioning of systems, machines and processes. In addition, the simulation platform can also be used for realistic training environments for training operating staff. SIMIT is available in four different variants (S, M, L & XL) which differ in the number of simulation tags. Simulation tags are calculated using the sum of the inputs and outputs as well as the size of all the components used in a simulation project. One dongle per single-user station is generally used for licensing. In addition, you can use the Software Update Service (SUS) to easily and cost-effectively keep your software up-to-date and receive the newest software upon its release. The SIMIT Unit can be used to link a real controller with a simulation model in SIMIT. The SIMIT Unit simulates the device behavior and enables the data exchange between the controller and SIMIT.
