Connects a SATA hard drive to a USB Type A equipped computer Supports SATA up to 6Gbps USB 3.1 Gen 1 / USB 3.0 SuperSpeed standard with data rates up to 5Gbps Compatible with USB Type A equipped computers 2 year warranty USB to SATA converters allow users to expand PC storage by allowing a SATA hard drive or SSD to connect to a USB equipped PC. This Lindy USB 3.0 to SATA Converter allows users to easily connect high performance 5.25'', 3.5'' or 2.5'' SATA drives without having to install the drive in an enclosure or computer. It is an ideal tool for computer technicians as well as for private users for quick backups. With plug & play installation, the converter can be easily connected and used instantly. The included mains adapter powers the connected hard drive. The USB 3.0 to SATA Converter does not directly support 3.3V HDD/SSDs; for drives which require 3.3V, please use a SATA/Micro SATA adapter. Information about USB 3.0, 3.1 & 3.2 USB 3.0, USB 3.1 and USB 3.2 PCs, cables and devices are all compatible with each other, when using either a USB Type A or USB Type C host interface. USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.2 Gen 1 all support data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps. USB 3.1 Gen 2 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 both support data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps.
