If the fault is permanent, it automatically isolates the faulty section of the network.The use of recloser prevents customers from suffering electrical outages.Each outage corresponds to a cost for Electrical Utilities (e.g. loss of energy sales) but also for customers (e.g. loss of production for commercial and industrial).
