The IO-Link Master is a part of the IO-Link solution, to be used with controllers with the Ethernet/IP fieldbus protocol. The IO-Link Master has 8 Class A ports, where both IO-Link and non-IO-Link devices can be connected. The IO-Link Master has an IP67-rated housing. It also has an integrated OPC UA server that can connect to up to 2 OPC UA clients. Its two galvanically separated power supply lines can carry current up to 16A at 24V DC input. The device is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -20 to 70°C. It comes equipped with integrated sensors that can monitor the current, voltage, and temperature of each port. The IO-Link Master device can communicate through the MQTT protocol, which can be configured both through the Web-configurator and the 'Simply Config IO-Link' Configuration software. The configurator is password-protected, and the user can create different profiles like Admin, Operator and Maintenance with different access to the configuration options. The device has a plastic body with IP65 and IP67 rating. It is designed for use in various industrial applications such as packaging, materials handling, conveying, machining, food and beverage.
