The RC-unit is used for: • Fluorescent lamps: To limit voltage peaks occurring when switching off by inductances integrated in fluorescent lamps. It is recommended to attach an RC-unit between L and N to each fluorescent lamp. • LED lamps: To avoid flickering or glowing of low power LED lamps (non-dimmable only switching function) in OFF state with the xComfort dimming actuators (CDAU-01/02, CDAU-01/03, CDAE-01/02, CDAE-01/03) it is recommended to add, parallel to the lamp, an RC-unit.
