Product Overview

The BS 190/01 is an overvoltage protection module engineered for fine protection of bus devices. It is designed for duct installation and optimized for low-voltage signal and control circuits.

  • Electrical Parameters: Rated for 24 V DC nominal voltage with a maximum continuous DC voltage of 45 V. Supports a nominal load current of 6 A.
  • Surge Protection: Nominal discharge surge current (8/20 µs) of 5 kA. Voltage protection levels are 750 V (core/core) and 500 V (core/earth).
  • Connection & Conductors: Two conductors without earthing, using a connection cable interface. Earthing is implemented via a separate conductor.
  • Mechanical & Installation: Duct-mounted design with an assembly width of 12 mm. Degree of protection is IP20.
  • Functional Limits: Limiting frequency up to 70 MHz. No remote signaling contact, no signal disconnection, and no proactive thermo-control.
