Description

The OT400E03DP Switch-Disconnector is a high-performance device engineered for demanding low voltage applications. It conforms to IEC 60947-3 standards, ensuring reliable operation in industrial and commercial environments. This 6-pole switch-disconnector supports rated operational voltages up to 1000 V AC/DC and provides a conventional thermal current of 400 A both in free-air conditions (Ith) and when fully enclosed (Ithe). Designed for front operation, it includes a handle with an integrated shaft for straightforward handling.

Key technical attributes include a rated impulse withstand voltage of 12 kV, short-time withstand current (Icw) of 15 kA for one second, and conditional short-circuit currents reaching up to 100 kA at certain fuse configurations. The OT400E03DP offers impressive mechanical durability with an operational lifespan exceeding 16,000 cycles. Its terminals accommodate lug connections with widths of up to 25 mm, supported by tightening torques within the range of 30–44 N·m as per IEC parameters.

With its robust construction (net dimensions: W=221 mm, H=185 mm, D=202.5 mm; weight: approx. 6.1 kg) and compliance with pollution degree level three requirements, this device is suitable even in harsh environments where reliability is paramount. Additionally, it features IP00 protection on its front panel and achieves minimal power loss per pole under full load conditions (~10W).

This model ensures tailored performance across AC categories including AC-21A/22A/23A operations from voltages as low as 380 V through to high-performance scenarios at up to 690 V—supporting motors or systems with power ratings scaling from approximately 132 kW to an impressive max output of ~400 kW at peak specifications.
