Het biedt een storingsvrije Ethernet-verbinding tussen de drive en een Safety PLC met behulp van het PROFIsafe protocol via PROFINET. De software is compatibel met Altivar Machine ATV340 en Altivar Process ATV900-aandrijvingen.
