The emission technology is IR LED with 950nm wavelength and an effective aperture angle of 25° at 3m. It is an IP69K rated product. It is a safety light curtain with a rated supply voltage of 24V DC and a rated operational current of 2A. It is furnished with 5-pin M12 male connector for transmitter and 8-pin M12 male connector for receiver. The casing is made of aluminium (red) with polycarbonate front panel and polypropylene end caps. Its dimensions are 76mm (Width) x 75mm (Depth) x 1273mm (Height) and weighs 6.06kg. The transmitter and receiver must be installed with the optical surfaces face to face, connectors oriented in the same way. Perfect alignment of the transmitter and the receiver corresponding beams is mandatory for an optimum functioning. It is an optical protection system with infrared beams that provides protection for operators in the vicinity of hazardous zones. Any moving parts in this zone are stopped if at least one of the light beams is broken. The safety light curtain can only be used on machines on which the movement of working components can be stopped at any time during a hazardous phase. This light curtain provides a stop signal, not a control instruction.
