Due to the high degree of protection, use in tough environments, such as operation at ambient temperatures of up to 60 degrees, is possible. The PM230 degree of protection IP55 produces only slight line harmonic distortions without additional measures and apparent power losses and ensures faults are acknowledged automatically after power failure. In addition to the energy-related advantages, the environmental stress is also reduced. The PM230 Power Module, with degree of protection IP55, is available for powers ranging from 0.37 kW to 90 kW for panel mounting outside the control cabinet. Frame sizes FSA up to FSF of the PM230 Power Module, in degree of protection IP 55, are available with an integrated Class A line filter for installations according to Category C2 – and with an integrated Class B line filter according to Category C1 to EN 61800-3. As standard, the following accessories are included in the scope of delivery: Shield plates and shield connecting kits for EMC-compliant connection of power and control cables; for frame sizes FSA up to FSC, plug connectors for the line supply and motor.
