The xComfort LeakageStop Universal is a smart solution that detects water (leakages), emits an acoustic alarm and controls a wire-connected solenoid valve (NO or NC-type) to shut off the water supply. It is 230 VAC 50 Hz mains-powered and can be mounted in an installation box. Its 55 x 55 mm design is compatible with leading WA brand frames and supports both on-wall and in-wall wiring. It detects water either via its onboard water sensor (single spot) or by means of an external water-sensor cable, adhesive flat-cable. The sensor unit can be mounted max. 30m from the main device by using a 2-wire cable. The device’s pushbuttons are used to operate the device, e.g. to acknowledge the acoustic alarm or to reopen a valve. The device has a multicolor LED ring to indicate the different states. An instruction sticker is part of the delivery. The device can be connected to wireless pushbuttons for easy operation wherever required and have functions as the on-device pushbuttons. The device can be wirelessly connected to additional xComfort LeakageStop detector units to protect a large area or multiple rooms. It can also be exclusively used as an actuator or a detector. In actuator configuration the water detection is handled by one or multiple external wireless water detection devices – the main unit only serves to emit alerts and to control the solenoid valve. As detector, on the other hand, the unit emits alarms and provides the current water detection status. Optional to configure via xComfort Bridge the device has an integrated lime blockage protection function and the possibility to power-off appliances via connected switching actuators. As part of the xComfort family, the xComfort LeakageStop can easily be wirelessly connected to the xComfort Bridge to offer additional connected home functions, e.g. closing a valve when leaving home or monitoring and control via smartphone. Attention! Device is not supported by xComfort Smart Home Controller and the solenoid valve is not included. The solution supports 230 V AC, 50 Hz, max. 100 W solenoid valves.
