Based on the required motor power, the supply voltage, and the expected braking cycles, the optimum power unit can quickly be selected. The Power Modules with degree of protection IP20 are for installation in a cabinet. The PM240 and PM240-2 Power Modules have a brake chopper (four-quadrant applications) and are suitable for numerous applications in general machinery construction. It is also an advantage that these Power Modules can be combined with all Control Units. The PM240/240-2 Power Modules are available in a three-phase voltage range of 380 V to 480 V and in a power range between 160 kW and 250 kW.
