This product is part of the XU range, an offer of photoelectric sensors. The photoelectric sensor provides PNP, normally open/normally closed programmable and solid state discrete output. It is a photoelectric sensor with a rated supply voltage of 12V to 24V DC with reverse polarity protection. It is furnished with 4-pin M8 male connector for electrical connection. The sensor emitting colour is red. Green/yellow LEDs for indicating sensor status. This fibre design photo-electric sensor has amplifiers with fine adjustment and 4-digit screen. It is an IP64 and IP65 rated product. Its dimensions are 40mm (width) x 10mm (depth) x 65mm (height) and weighs 0.04kg. It is ideal for material handling, packaging, labelling, assembly, lift, escalators or food and beverage industries. This product is certified by CULus and CE. This sensor is compatible with glass or plastic fibre optics 1mm or 2.2mm. Ex Osiris, OsiSense XU is for non-contact sensing up to a hundred metres of objects of any shape and any type. A photo-electric sensor basically comprises a light beam transmitter (light-emitting diode) and a light-sensitive receiver (photo-transistor). A light-emitting diode is an electronic semi-conductor component.
