This RFID safety switch is part of the Preventa XCS range, a Telemecanique Sensors' offer of safety detection solutions. It is identified by a factory individual code which supports one unique factory pairing. The switch is designed for both standalone (EDM) and daisy-chain connection. Thanks to its miniature format, it can adjust even in tight places. It has an assured operating distance of 10mm and an assured release distance of 25mm​. It is equippedwith a 8-pin M12 remote connector at the end of a 0.10m-long cable. Its dimensions are 28.5mm (width) x 18mm (depth) x 42mm (height). It weighs 0.056kg. RFID safety switches are used on machines with low inertia. It is Tüv, cULus, FCC and ECOLAB certified and complies to CE and UKCA standards. It can be connected to a XCSRZY1 Y connector when in first position of the daisy-chain or to an XCSRZY2 Y connector elsewhere in the chain. Contactless safety switches are specifically designed for industrial machines fitted with doors, covers or guards with imprecise guiding. They are ideally suited for machines subjected to frequent washing or liquid spray. Safety switches protect operators by controlling the safe opening and interlocking of guards and covers in your installations.
