Varistor surge arrester, class 2 (T2/C): is used to protect LV power installations against effects of induced and switching surges / in buildings without lightning protection and with cable connection, the arrester provides sufficient protection without the need for mounting class 1 arresters (T1/B). Spike arresters, class II, Type 2 (group C). KSD-T2 class II surge arresters (SPD) are made in accordance with EN61643-1. These type 1+2 surge arresters are designed to protect low voltage installations against indirect atmospheric discharges and switching surges in the grid. Arresters provide protection in the 1-2 zone in accordance with EN62305 standard.
