Description
Das Ethernet Communication Interface ECI dient zur Vernetzung in großen xComfort Anlagen. Dabei werden die ECI s über ein LAN-Netzwerk miteinander verbunden (bestehendes oder zusätzliches LAN-Netzwerk). Weiters kommunizierern die ECI s mit dem xComfort Funksystem. Je nach Anwendung sind die ECI s als LAN-Router oder Bereichknoten konfigurierbar. Ist xComfort-Routing nicht möglich, kann LAN-Routing verwendet werden. Sollen einzelne Etagen, in denen xComfort eingesetzt ist, über LAN/WLAN miteinander vernetzt werden, sind die ECI s auch als Bereichsknoten einsetzbar. Zur Inbetriebnahme ist die MRF 2.0 oder höher erforderlich. Eine Systemintegration für 3rd Party Applikationen, wie z.B.: eine zentrale Hotelsoftware, ist ebenfall möglich. Die Montage erfolgt mittels Montagegrundplatte an der Wand. Die Versorgung des ECI-LAN erfolgt über das bestehende Netwerk (POE Power Over Ethernet).
