Der externe Empfänger kommt dann zum Einsatz, wenn keine brauchbare Funk verbindung zum Multi-Heizungsaktor zustande kommt, weil dieser im Heizverteiler aus Metall oder an einer anderen funktechnisch ungünstigen Stelle sitzt. Der externe Empfänger wird außerhalb des Verteilers montiert und über ein RJ12-Kabel (1m lang, im Lieferumfang enthalten) mit dem Heizungsaktor verbunden.
