The unshielded version (U/UTP) can be used for Gigabit Ethernet thanks to the special design of the electrophysical parameters (NExT, FExT, etc.) despite the lack of shielding. These cables are manufactured and tested according to the ISO/IEC 11801 specification. The cables are packaged individually in a polybag. The gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-free connections over extensive periods of time. A robust snagless strain relief design prevents damage to the connector latch during installation and removal. The high frequencies used in network technology cause a high current load in the outer layers of the conductors due to the ''skin effect'', while the conductor cores are only subjected to very low electrical loads. This allows the use of copper clad aluminium (CCA) conductor material, making this cable more cost-effective than pure copper cables. Available lengths: 0.3m, 0.5m, 1m, 2m, 3m, 5m, 7.5m, 10m.
