3M™ Heat Shrink Tubing HDCW is designed to repair quickly damaged cable jacketing. This wraparound sleeve can be used as insulation material on cable and splices up to 1000V and as jacket repair material on cable up to 35 kV. The cross linked polyolefin construction has an adhesive that offers moisture seal protection.3M™ HDCW Wraparound Sleeve is a thermally stabilised cross linked weather resistant polymeric wraparound sleeve with hot melt adhesive. The outer surface has thermocromic paint, which changes the colour after reaching the right heatshrink temperature. HDCW is RoHS compliant, halogen free and provides good chemical resistance. Wraparound sleeves are mainly used for repairing outer/inner sheath of the cables. These sleeves providing corrosion protection to the metallic parts of the cables that are exposed to polluted environment. HDCW is available in sizes from 35/10 mm to 140/40 mm in standard lengths of 250, 500, 750, 1000, 1200 mm in color black. Standard packaging in pieces in standard-pack.
