Description
Part of Schneider Electric’s ConneXium range, this fibre optic switch is engineered for industrial Ethernet environments requiring both flexibility and reliability. The unit combines eight copper ports (10/100BASE-TX) and two SFP slots for 1000Mbps fibre connections, allowing mixed-media setups and extended network reach using multimode fibre.
This managed fibre switch supports full TCP/IP stack functionality, including RSTP, VLAN configuration, multicast filtering, IGMP snooping, port prioritization, and embedded web interface access. Designed with cybersecurity in mind, it offers secure port control and diagnostic functions like SNTP and SMTP v3 notifications.
The switch operates at 24V DC, with a low power draw of 8.3W, and supports up to 50 devices in a ring topology, making it ideal for fiber network switch deployments in factory automation or process control systems.
